John Berry Barlows new web log, Barlow Friendz, offers an insiders view of the inner workings of one of the founders of the Electronic Frontier Foundation

I love Mozilla and I've been using it daily for the last year or more.
Recently my friend, Chris, brought to my attention that the latest version of Firebird with AdBlock, which is excellent, has a new extension called,"click to enable Flash".
When Firebird loads a page with a Flash app embedded, the page shows "click to Flash" text to activate the flash object.
I'd long since stopped surfing with Internet Explorer because of all the distracting and garrish ads on web pages.
In fact until last week I didn't have Flash installed in Mozilla so I didn't have to be bothered by the Flash ads.
Now with the click to enable Flash extension in Firebird I've installed soundblox and blogbox on my blog page.
And if you decide to use either of these cool widgets I highly recommend using Architag's Xray XML editor to modify the XML files needed to drive these apps.
Additional Mozilla Firebird extensions.
Life's short, remember to have some fun!
Along the left edge you see the soundblox and directly under is
the Laszlo blogblox.
A flash driven blogroll, if you will.
Configuring an XML/OPML file with your favorite topics and links
will embed this handy and compact web page object in your home page.
You can get your blogbox here.
Warren Ellis puts forth the idea that the current decline in the music industry as well as the movie industry is a change in the way the public looks for media.
With the internet the audience can get custom content dictated

Have a few to many champagne corks hanging around?
Or have you ever thought about recycling all those unsightly New Years Eve's corks?

Have no fear Design Within Reach has an answer, chairs!
Mostly instrumental, good none the less!
Seems I pick up most of my new music on the web
which is great except I felt funny the last time
I went into a record/cd store. I miss it but then again I don't.
Getting music off the internet is more natural now.

Wild new embedded MP3 player for blogs.
Sound Blox
Really though, I imagine that Windows Media player or Winamp can be set up in a blog so I think the idea isn't anything new just the interface.
Sound Blox is a Flash driven MP3 player and I feel that's what's really being hawked here.
The music by Neuronaut is what got my attention more that the blog embedded MP3 player.

Ah, a slight configuration error and a quick check with the Movable Type support forum yielded all the necessary information.
Hmm, now I'm having a little trouble with the style sheet,
apparently I unknowingly added an extra slash (/)
to the index page by way of the mt.cfg file.
Next up the Plugins Manager.
Planning to upgrade to MT 2.65 to get the security enhancements.
After that I plan to change my Movable Type database to mySQL.
Can't wait till they come out with Movable Type 3.0!
